Holding Back The Years: My Experience with Ultherapy at The Bitar Cosmetic Institute

Paul Wharton, July 2, 2018 Montauk, NY – Post Ultherapy Treatment

When I was a kid, my parents used to say I was an “old soul”. I loved classic clothes, classic cars and songs that adults around me listened to. One song in particular that I loved was Simpy Red’s “Holding Back The Years”. I remember as a kid thinking the I’ll keep holding on must mean he wants to be young forever. As I’ve gotten older, I realized that I don’t want to be young forever, in fact I love the maturity and stability that comes with age and experience.

However, I don’t want my skin to look a day older than it has to.  Leading up to my 40th birthday I started to notice that my face was showing signs of aging. My jawline was losing it’s sharpness and the middle of my face, from ear to ear appeared to be slowly heading south. The best way to describe it is, I looked like myself but even after a full night’s rest, I looked tired and a bit dehydrated, which I was not. I began looking into anti-aging treatments that could address some of my concerns. I was introduced to Dr. George Bitar at The Bitar Cosmetic Institute and after visiting his beautiful office in Fairfax for a consultation, I decided that I would move forward with a new anti-aging treatment called Ultherapy.

The Ultherapy procedure stimulates collagen production by delivering focused ultrasound energy to the skin’s foundational layer typically addressed in cosmetic surgery—without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin. Unlike lasers, radio frequency, surgery and other technologies, non-surgical Ultherapy bypasses the surface of the skin to deliver the right amount of ultrasound energy at the right depths and the right temperature. This energy triggers a natural response under the skin, jumpstarting the regenerative process that produces fresh, new collagen.

On the day of treatment, My skin care technician “Z” couldn’t have been more gentle and thoughtful with her care. She put me at ease and after getting comfortable taking a pill to relax, we started the treatment which included localized therapy of my neck, face and temples/upper face. At first the treatment is a little uncomfortable, one trick that helped keep me comfortable was using a cool air blower that I controlled while “Z’ administered by treatment.

‘Deciding which Dr to use can be the difference between this treatment begin enjoyable and positive and one that I’m sure could give you a much less desirable outcome if you go to a practice that doesn’t focus on you individual needs and comfort level. I couldn’t be happier with the results of my Ultherpy treatment. I see a renewed freshness and glow that I long to achieve but needed a little extra help which really worked with the help of this treatment and the team at Bitar. I have decided to move forward with Dr. George Bitar and The Bitar Cosmetic Institute as my own personal Dr in the fight against aging as well as a referral source for my readers and clients that are on a mission to live their best life and achieve their best look.

If you’re looking to “Hold back the years” a bit, I suggest calling my friends at Bitar. Give Rima Bitar or any of the staff there a ring, tell them I referred you for a bit of extra special VIP treatment (and maybe a little gift from me). They can be reached at 703-206-0506. Let me know what you think once you visit! This is summer time, you should be seeing the world, NOT the wrinkles!

Yours in love and beauty,

Paul xx
